[외국계 자소서2] 외국계 합격 자소서 공유(ASML)-자소서,두괄식 자기소개서, 영문 자기소개서, 영문 자소서

안녕하세요 이번에는 ASML Customer Support Engineer 합격 자소서 입니다.

 

ASML은 영문, 국문 자기소개서를 받고 또한 Cover Letter 또한 받는 기업입니다. 많은 공대분들은 영문 자기소개서 때문에 영문자기소개서 업체에 국문 자기소개서를 영문화 하는 비싼 금액을 주고 의뢰를 하는 것으로 알고 있습니다. 

 

저는 절대 그럴 필요가 없다고 생각합니다. Papago, 구글 번역기가 있으며 ASML 인사 담당자 분이 학교로 리쿠르팅 왔을때 몇번 영문 자기소개서에대한 문의를 한적이 있습니다. 

가장 큰 2가지를 말씀 드리면

 

1. 영문 자기소개서 문법을 보나요? 

답변:일단 대답은 "NO" 였습니다. 단지 너무 간단한 영문법 문장에 동사가 없거나, "무슨 의미인지 모르는 문장은 감점요인이 될 수도 있다." 였습니다. 즉 내가 말하고자 하는 내용을 명확히 전달만 하면 크게 문제는 없다는 것입니다.

 

2. 국문 자기소개서와 내용이 똑같아야 하나요?

답변: "NO" 였습니다. 국문과 같아도, 틀려도 된다고 합니다. 단지 팩트를 기반으로 작성하면 된다고 합니다.

 

우선 바로 제가 작성했던 영문 자기소개서를 공유 드립니다. 제 자소서는 단순 참고용으로만 보셨으면 합니다^^;; 잘쓴 자기소개서 라기보다는 이정도도 합격권 이구나 라고 생각해주셨으면 합니다.

 

 

Reasons for applying ASML and Goal at ASML

 

 

 

ASML is a leader in the semiconductor equipment industry. ASML’s ability to create new things was pretty attractive. So I applied to ASML. ASML is a trend-leading company in semiconductor Photolithography equipment. I want to provide high quality service to customers by learning the technology in ASML. Furthermore, I would like to contribute to the rapid development of ASML over other companies.

 

 

 

Three years after joining the company, I will make my own problem check sheet for my equipment and be an engineer to fix the equipment. And I will be an engineer to prevent the failure of the equipment. I will quickly identify problems with equipment checklist that I will upgrade, which means that it’s great way to give our customers faith and trust.

 

 

 

Six years after joining the company, I want to become an expert on photolithography processing equipment as well as maintain equipment and lead the training on equipment use. The life of the equipment depends on how to use it. Therefore, I would like to demonstrate ASML’s equipment through proper training. When I visit the client company, I will try to become an engineer with expertise in accurate information delivery.

I have built the right job capabilities for ASML’s Customer Support Engineer.

 

First, I learned semiconductor process by conducting NCS-based semiconductor process exercise.

 

Based on the theory and practical experience of NCS-based semiconductor processes, I tried to develop its job capabilities. Among them, I focused on the Photolithography Process. I learned the flow of the photo process and the importance of the Photo Process. How short the gap between Source and Drain is determines the refinement of semiconductors, and further refinement is made by using PEPE(Photo-Etch-Photo-Etch) method or DPT Process for further refinement. As such, I learn that Photo Process is a major role in semiconductor production

 

 

 

Second, I’ve grown engineers’ ability to maintain and repair special chemical equipment.

 

I was in charge of maintaining and repairing chemical equipment in the military. I had learned how to handle equipment and train users. I identified the cause of the fault and responded accordingly. I trained the user to avoid the same failure. In order to solve the problems quickly, I developed a problem checklist to identify the problem quickly and accurately.

 

 

 

Third, I experienced attitude in the company and how I learned to work through my internship.

 

Through intern, I learned how to work with other people, respect each role, and work together. AS an intern in Australia was a valuable opportunity to learn how to work with people from not only Korea but also from various cultures. Through this, I have developed the ability to write documents in English and send e-mails in English

My own weapon has an attitude that wants to improve anything based on its logic.

 

[Ability to improve work efficiency] Constantly thinking and worrying, making work automation

 

I have worked internships in Australia and have improved work efficiency. It was a task of collecting online information in Excel. It was a simple task, and it took about an hour, so I thought I would be able to automate it. And then I and senior discussed and studied together after work. I designed the algorithm and senior coded it. We could complete the program through a lot of trial and error, and automation was done in 5 to 10 minutes. It was a result of effort for improvement of work.

 

[Communication] Making butterfly effect

After creating the program, I guessed this program can help others. So I explained to some of them. I thought that if I made a little modification, I could make it for others. I added not only my ideas but also others, so the program was developed more and more and other departments automate similar tasks. The process of making was difficult, but I was proud of bringing results through communication with many people. After the internship was over, I received a letter of recommendation from the expatriate and the HR department.

 

So I think that my [work efficiency improvement] and [communication capability] are very important as an engineer. if I could be a Customer Support engineer, I will contribute to the development of ASML by maximizing my ability.
